Just a note...

I have a quick tutorial over at the Some Odd Girl blog today, so stop by and check it out.  I'm doing a make over on a mini sized composition notebook using the new clear set, School Supplies.

Here's a peek of the before and after...
This little notebook would be the perfect size to keep in your purse, car glove box, or back pack.

The set is in the shop and the details on the notebook are on the blog.

School Supplies

I'm back today with the 2nd clear release from Some Odd Girl this week.  This one is called School Supplies and it so much fun!  This set has a pencil, crayon, glue with face, and sentiments.  It also comes with a separate little face stamp, so you can add a face to your pencil and crayon if you want.

I made a little sign to hang on door that lets friends know it's home work time.  Putting this sign on the front door will save your student from a lot of disruption...it's also great for a bedroom doors too.
I colored the supplies with Copic markers and paper pieced the label on the glue bottle. The base of the sign is made with chip board, then covered in patten paper.  It should hold up for a long time.

Class is in session over at the Some Odd Girl blog and the other Design Team girls have some fabulous projects to share with you. So be sure to stop by. Trust me, you don't want to be tardy for this clear release!

The most fun part of back to school is School Supplies and shopping for them.  Don't let the kids have all the fun, drop by the Some Odd Girl shop grab these cute little supplies for yourself.

Shine Bright!

There's a color challenge going on over at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog and I thought I would give it a shot.  I had a few minutes today and was able to make a card before the challenge ends.

Here is the summer color combo:

Here's my  card:

Teacher Mae

It's clear release time at Some Odd Girl and this one is sure to be an A+!  Today we want to introduce you to Teacher Mae.  She comes with a cute little ruler and some really fun sentiments.

Our teachers do so much for our sweet kiddos, I really think they deserve a thank you every now and then.  The Teacher Mae set has everything you need to make special card for your favorite teacher on any occasion.

I paper pieced Mae's dress and colored the rest of her with markers. The "thanks" sentiment comes in this set. I just love the cute cursive font! Teacher Mae is in the shop today and the rest of the Design Team has a lot of great inspiration for you on the blog.  Check it all out on the Some Odd Girl site.

Stop by tomorrow for a look at the 2nd set in our clear release this week.
